Anna Mindess is a multi-award writer living in Berkeley, California, who focuses on food, culture, and travel. Her work has appeared in The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, AFAR, Gastro Obscura, Fodor's, and Lonely Planet, among others. Thanks to frequent visits to Paris, Anna has written a half-dozen stories on the Paris chocolate scene for The Chocolate Professor. Anna also works as an American Sign Language interpreter, and authored a classic book, Reading Between the Signs, used to train sign language interpreters around the world.
